Vita Risk Solutions: Manager of the Month Award, December 2024

Here are the last Vita Risk Solutions Managers of the Month of 2024- a quartet of very deserved winners. 

Premier Division

Let’s play Darts! That’s a phrase we heard many times during December, but we suspect it wasn’t uttered with any enthusiasm by the opponents of Dartford, as in the main those particular Darts made everyone they met rather miserable. Dartford played six Pitching In Isthmian Premier matches in December, won five of them, and only allowed Dulwich Hamlet to escape with as much as a point. Bognor Regis Town, Horsham, Folkestone Invicta, Cray Wanderers and Canvey Island each tried to put up a fight, but each of them came away from their meeting with nothing bur regret. Many congratulations to Adrian Pennock, our Manager of the Month. 

North Division

Ryan Salter took over Brightlingsea Regent in mid November, and his impact has been rather significant. December saw Regent travel to take on promotion chasing Bury Town and Witham Town, and on each occasion they headed back to North Road with three points. On the days when they didn’t need to leave their home ground, against Wroxham and Gorleston, they also picked up three points. A perfect month- and a well deserved trophy for Ryan, who must hope that every month from now on is like December! 

South Central Division

Uxbridge fans must have thought that Christmas lasted an entire month. December brought with it four victories from four, thirteen goals scored and only two conceded. Horndean and Southall were defeated to nil- the Deans by an incredible eight goals- title-chasing Kingstonian by two goals to one, and they also turned up their nose at Rayners Lane’s previously fabulous home record, defeating them two-one as well to take some local bragging rights. Uxbridge boss Danny Edwards is certainly deserving of our plaudits- and now he has something a little more permanent than praise, as we’ll be delivering him a trophy, too! 

South East Division

What a time to be a Brickie. Sittingbourne fans must still be pinching themselves, such has been the superb form exhibited by their side this season, and December was no exception. We’re not even going to mention a certain FA Trophy win against Step Two opposition (although we might be mentioning it somewhere else!) as this award is given on the basis of league success alone, but the month brought lots of that. Littlehampton Town, Herne Bay, Merstham, Eastbourne Town, Sheppey United and Broadbridge Heath each tried to go toe to toe with the Brickies, and each one of that sextet emerged from their encounter with absolutely nothing to show for their efforts. Many Congratulations to Sittingbourne boss Ryan Maxwell on yet another award!
