Vita Risk Solutions: Manager of the Month Award, September 2024

Here are our latest Vita Risk Solutions Managers of the Month of the 24-25 season- a quartet of deserved winners. 

Premier Division

As we move into October, our Premier Division has only one unbeaten side- so it’s little surprise that we are heading to New Lodge to heap praise on Billericay Town boss Gary McCann. Septembers highlights were thumping wins over Folkestone Invicta and Bognor Regis Town, and their success has been built on having by far the best defence in the Division, with only five goals conceded so far. 

Congratulations to Gary on a first award of the season. We suspect there’s rather a good chance it won’t be the last.

North Division

We’re off to beautiful Bury St Edmonds, and delivering an award to Bury Town boss Cole Skuse. An unbeaten September sees his side held off the top only on goal difference, the highlights of the month victories over Newmarket Town and Gorleston- although taking a point from the only side above them (Basildon United) despite playing seventy six minutes with ten men was probably something of a highlight too! Congrats to Cole and his band of blue warriors. 

South Central Division

There isn’t much we can say about Farnham Town’s start to the season that hasn’t already been said, but at the risk of repeating ourselves, seven matches, seven wins, twenty seven goals scored and only three conceded- wow! Five of the seven came in September, the one hundred percent record held onto with relative ease, with seven goals against Binfield and four against closest challengers Harrow Borough, another two against Westfield, and two more in wins over Ashford Town and Met Police- matches which included three clean sheets. We’ll stop now- congratulations to Town boss Paul Johnson, who has delivered so much success at Farnham that we suspect he will soon need to build an extension just to hold the trophy cabinet. 

South East Division

For the second month in a row we’re off to the Island of Sheppey, with another shiny trophy for Ites boss Ernie Batten. United have had a fine start to the campaign- and head into October still holding a one hundred percent league record, six wins from six. The last three of those wins came last month, and they saw Erith Town and Steyning Town defeated at home, Phoenix Sports defeated away, two clean sheets and only one goal succeeded- results which see them end the month in second place, four points behind the leaders with three games in hand. 

Congratulations to Ernie, once again- this is becoming a habit!
