Vita Risk Solutions: Manager of the Month Award, September 2026
In conjunction with our friends at Vita Risk we honour the best Pitching In Isthmian managers of September
Here are our latest quartet of Vita Risk Solutions Managers of the Month winners- and goodness, these were close! With this award we put an additional weighting on away results over home results, and then look at goal difference- and our mathematician was really busy this time around!
As a reminder, clubs have to play at least three League matches to be eligible- and only League matches count.
Premier Division
We’re off to Princes Park, to deliver a first award of the campaign to Dartford boss Ben Greenhalgh.
The Darts had a one hundred percent League record in September, with wins on the road against fellow top five sides Carshalton Athletic and Enfield Town- both to nil- and a home win against Whitehawk completing a one hundred percent record. Whilst we don’t count Cup wins whilst calculating the winners of this award, they also defeated Westfield and Hayes & Yeading in the FA Cup, Ramsgate in the County Cup and Leiston in the FA Trophy to complete a fabulous month for Ben and his boys.
North Division
We’re off to Norfolk, to honour Gorleston boss Darren Cockrill. The Greens had an impressive September, remaining unbeaten in their five games, to finish the month top of the table, with one home win, three away and an away draw. Buckhurst Hill, Cambridge City and Wroxham were each defeated two-nil, and Walthamstow one-nil, with only Little Oakley escaping an encounter with a point.
Whilst Cup results aren’t taken into account, a fine win over Leighton Town was also worthy of praise.

South Central Division
Goodness, this one was close! Our award goes to Gavin Spurway of AFC Portchester, Gavin and his Royals taking the prize after a September which saw them defeat AFC Stoneham, Windsor & Eton and Moneyfields, and draw at leaders Bognor Regis Town. It was that draw at the Rocks- and the extra weighting we give to away results- which saw Gavin over the line ahead of the manager in the opposite dugout, and we send our congratulations to him and to his team.
Gavin’s award is his third of 2026- perhaps there may be more to come!
South East Division
Sevenoaks Town have enjoyed September, with some fine performances and the opening of their fabulous new pavilion- and now they’ll have another reason to remember the month, as boss Marcel Nimani has been named our Manager of the Month.
September saw Oaks defeat Margate, Steyning Town and Eastbourne Town- the latter by five goals to nil, and record a goalless draw at Cray Valley PM, to deliver ten points, nine goals scored and only one conceded; results which saw them climb the table at a rate of knots.
