Wands go through- Blues and City go out

After a very, very late equaliser at Flamingo Park on Saturday, Wingate and Finchley were favourites to finish the job against Cray Wanderers on Summers Lane last night, but it was Wands who found their magic. The game had only one goal, and it was David Smith who broke his duck for the season in first half added time, sending Wanderers into the next round- where they will welcome Hastings United.

After coming from behind to secure a late replay against National League South promotion chasers Slough Town at the weekend, Chichester City hoped to do even better at Arbour Park, but were sadly facing an uphill struggle after goals on eleven and thirteen minutes left them two down. They did halve the arrears with a minute to go, Joe Moore the scorer, but that was as good as it got for the Greens.
