Ward-Cochrane new in Blue- again

Wingate and Finchley had a ‘new’ face on the bench as they welcomed Billericay Town on Saturday, as Ben Ward Cochrane returned to the club.

Ben, a forward, started this season with Potters Bar Town, and has played seventeen times, scoring three goals. 

He began last season with the Blues, but made only four appearances. He also played for Harefield United during 23-24. 

He played for Walthamstow and Kingstonian during the 22-23 season, but was also previously with the Scholars- indeed he scored ten Potters Bar goals in eighteen matches during the 21-22 season, after joining the club during what turned out to be the closing stages of the 2019-20 campaign. He has also played for Welling United, Chalfont St Peter, Hertford Town and Enfield Town.
