Watson the Jammer

Maldon & Tiptree have announced the signing of former Heybridge Swifts and Hashtag United midfielder Lewis Watson. 

Lewis spent most of last season along the road with the Jammers local rivals, playing twenty three times and scoring four goals, including one in victory over his new club. 

He had previously been a mainstay of the Tags for two years, and indeed  made eight appearances at Premier Division level last season. They followed twenty four as he helped his side to Pitching In Isthmian North promotion during the 22-23 season, and twenty one during the previous campaign after making the move to the Len Salmon from Hullbridge Sports. 

Lewis played five matches- and scored three goals- for Sports during the almost-non existent 20-21 campaign, and made another sixteen appearances the following season prior to his move to the Tags. He has also spent time in Greece with Panerythraikos.
