Watt new at Wingate

Prior to Saturday's match at Chatham Town, Wingate and Finchley announced the arrival of Benjamin Watt.

Full back Ben played youth football for Tottenham Hotspur prior to a move to Oxford United, where he played at Under 18 level. Whilst at Oxford he had a loan spell at Stratford Town, and then, in the summer of 2022, moved to Norfolk and signed for Norwich City. Last season saw him spend some time on loan at Braintree Town, and after leraving the Canaries in the summer he has already spent tome time in our ranks this season, at Concord Rangers, although it seems the Beachboys inadvertently added an s to the end of his surname. He played nine times on the Island.
