Willis for the Bees

Prior to the weekends fixtures, Pitching In Isthmian North promotion chasers Basildon United strengthened their defence with the addition of Billy Willis from Concord Rangers.

He has made seven appearances for the Beachboys after signing in the summer. 

Full back Billy spent a little time with Heybridge Swifts last season, playing three times. He was previously at Swifts neighbours Maldon & Tiptree, making seventeen appearances in the second half of the 22-23 season, after starting that campaign with Hashtag United, where he played fifteen times. Billy spent the 21-22 season with Witham Town, where he was the captain. He made thirty seven appearances. 

He was previously with Canvey Island, and also turned out for Tilbury, Great Wakering Rovers and Basildon United. As well as his usual defensive slot, he has also been known to play in midfield.
