Wisson of the Oaks

Sevenoaks Town gave a debut to midfielder Josh Wisson in victory over Harrow Borough on Saturday. 

Josh started this season with Sheppey United, and he has made four appearances for the Ites already this season. He first signed for the Ites in December 2022, and went on to play twenty three times during the 22-23 season as his side narrowly missed out on the play off place that Hythe Town snatched at the last moment. He made another thirty one appearances- with five goals- last season, before leaving the club for Hythe in January, playing twenty one times before the campaign came to an end. 

Josh originally joined the Ites after four and a half years at Ashford United. During his time at Homelands he helped the club to two Pitching In Isthmian South East Play Off Finals, although sadly didn't manage to end one with a promotion. He was previously with both Herne Bay and Sittingbourne- he was called up for the England Under 18's whilst a Brickie.
