Zion of the Ites

Saturday's defeat against Ashford United saw Sheppey United give a debut to striker Zion McLeod, who has been rather prolific in the SCFL for East Preston.

The youngster has managed a rather incredible twenty one goals in twenty two matches for the Sussex coast side so far this season, which has undoubtedly persuaded Ites boss Ernie Batten that he's worth a try at our level. He also managed five goals in nine appearances at the end of last season.

He has played for Trinidad and Tobago at Under 23 level.
