Allinson departs the Greens
Hendon boss Lee Allinson steps down
Hendon this morning confirmed the surprising news that manager Lee Allinson had decided to step down.
Lee joined the Greens in November 2019, so has recently completed five successful years in the role. Just this week we awarded the Greens our uhlsport Golden Gloves and Shepherd Neame Performance of the Month Awards for November.
He told the club website:
‘After five incredible years, with a heavy heart I have made the decision to leave Hendon FC, a club I have truly loved and where I’ve created memories I’ll never forget.’
He went on:
‘I will never forget the incredible moments we’ve shared: The FA Trophy run and the game at Oldham, winning the London Senior Cup, achieving our highest-ever finish in the Southern Premier League, and leaving the team in a strong position to keep pushing for the playoffs.’

Prior to his time at Silver Jubilee Park, Lee was the manager of Biggleswade Town and Assistant Manager of St Albans City. As a player, he turned out for both of those clubs, and notably for Boreham Wood.
The club have confirmed that Marc Charles-Smith will take temporary charge, with Dave Diedhiou and Caolan South giving him assistance.
