Tyrese Briscoe makes a Wingate and Finchley debut
Wingate and Finchley gave a debut to forward Tyrese Briscoe on Tuesday night, and he immediately made his mark, scoring in a three-one win over Bowers & Pitsea. He started this season at Hastings United, making eight appearances.
Tyrese ended last season on loan at Lewes from Hemel Hempstead Town, although he only got the chance to play twice, making a debut in defeat at Folkestone Invicta on Good Friday.
He started his career as an Arsenal youth, before swapping North London for South London and moving to Millwall, where he played for the Under 18 and Under 21 sides before heading to the National League South Tudors last summer. He was part of the first team squad at Vauxhall Road, and scored a couple of goals. He has also had a loan spell at Berkhamsted in Pitching In Southern Premier Central, but sadly they were as good as doomed to relegation prior to his arrival.
