Can the Tanners build on their Farnham triumph?

Leatherhead, Westfield, South Park Reigate and Horndean are the hosts on a South Central Tuesday

Leatherhead became the first side to defeat Farnham Town in the league this season- and indeed ended an unbeaten record that ran from the 22-23 campaign- with a four-one win at the weekend, and the Tanners are back at Fetcham Grove to welcome former boss Luke Tuffs and his Tangerines. Leatherhead have had a mixed campaign, that win over Farnham only their third in nine matches, but the home faithful will hope that they have finally found their feet having gone three unbeaten and scored twelve goals in the process. Visitors Ashford Town lost against Met Police on Sunday, and indeed have lost four of their last five- but their seven-four hammering of Kingstonian earlier this month should ensure that Leatherhead aren’t at all complacent.

Westfield have gone four without a win in the League, a run which has dropped them down to ninth, but will hope to get back to winning ways against Southall this evening- as two of last years Play Off Semi-Finalists meet at Woking Park. The All have lost only one of their last six, their achilles heel being a collection of draws, five of them- which places them alongside Rayners Lane as our draw champions but is not doing their promotion hopes a great deal of good despite some fine football. They did take six points from Field last season, however.

Horndean, with copious amounts of sudocream applied, got back to winning ways in style on Saturday as they defeated Rayners Lane four-two. The Deans are at home once more, Ascot United the visitors. The Yellas have been rather inconsistent of late, with only one win in six in League and Trophy, and are without an away win since August Bank Holiday Monday.

South Park Reigate are hoping for only a second win of the season as they welcome Moneyfields- but know that, if they win, they will climb out of the bottom four, to be replaced by their visitors. The Sparks are actually unbeaten at home in open play, their only defeat at Whitehall Lane coming in a penalty shootout in the FA Trophy; whilst the Moneys only win on the road came in the Hampshire Cup in mid August.
