Uxbridge have been in magnificent form of late, and were eleven matches unbeaten as a familiar name made the journey to Honeycroft, current South Central champions Chertsey Town the visitors. The home crowd had seen their side win their last eight matches on their own patch, but they fell behind on ten minutes and five minutes before half time an own goal made it two to the Curfews. Just before the end the visitors added a third, and the Uxbridge Trophy journey- and unbeaten run- came to an end.

Leaders Farnham Town hoped to quickly put the shock of their heavy defeat at Leatherhead behind them. Town were back at home once more, and welcomed mid table Horndean, the Deans having lost five of their previous six in League and Trophy but more than capable of giving anyone a match- but Farnham were quickly ahead, Jordan Stepney scoring on eighteen minutes. They weren’t ahead for long, however, as Kelvin Robinso took only five minutes to level, but the hosts regained their lead with twenty five minutes left, Owen Dean scoring for the fifteenth time this season. Again the Deans hit back, Zack Willett with the equaliser, and this time the scoring came to an end. Farnham stay top, but seem their lead cut to three points.
Hartley Wintney travelled to take on Hayes and Yeading United. The Row were on a five match winning run, but each of those wins came on their own patch, whilst away from home in League and Cups they’d managed to win only once. Could they change that? It didn’t look like it as they fell behind in the very first minute, Adrian Clifton taking his tally for the season into double figures, and it was two-nil on twenty minutes, Jordon Ibe the scorer. Just before the break The Row got a goal back, Conor Lynch making it two goals in two games since returning to the club, but the home crowd were quickly happy again as Kaylen Hinds made it three-one within a minute of the second half starting. Three minutes from time the visitors got another goal back, Charlie Postance with it, but United held on for three points and go seventh, The Row slipping to fourth.
Harrow Borough had lost only once this season- against Farnham- and started their Saturday five points behind the leaders with a game in hand. Borough took on Moneyfields looking to extend a six match unbeaten run- their latest win coming against a Queens Park Rangers side in the London Senior Cup in midweek- and went ahead against the Moneys on twenty minutes courtesy of Dernell Wynter’s third goal in six matches. Three minutes into added time they got a second, Dan Williams with it, and although Cal Laycock pulled a goal back for the visitors with nine added minutes already played, it didn’t stop Borough from taking three points- and moving to within three points of the leaders with a game in hand.
Kingstonian, after their Scott Harris managerial hokey-cokey last week, were on the road to Woking, where they took on eighth place Westfield. The K’s, despite that upheaval, had won five of their previous six in League and Cup, and had striker Eddie Simon in impressive form, having scored in his previous six matches- including two hat tricks- and having racked up eighteen goals already this season, from only fifteen matches. The K’s took only six minutes to go ahead, surprisingly not via Simon but via an own goal, and within a minute it was two-nil, Tyler Cox adding to their lead. Simon wasn’t having that, and just before the half hour he added a third for his side, and soon afterwards a fourth, taking his tally to twenty and looking to have won the match for his side by half time. The second half saw only one goal, and it again went to the K’s, Stan Flaherty rounding things off four minutes from time, five-nil the final score. Kingstonian are third.
Raynes Park Vale had won four of their previous five, Jordan Gallagher leading the way with thirteen goals from fourteen games- and he made it fourteen from fifteen after just seven minutes of their match with Binfield, and wasn’t finished, scoring again just before half time to make it two-nil. The Moles got a goal back at the start of the second half, Luke Wayborn the scorer, and, looking for a fifth successive win, drew level twenty five minutes from time, Jamie Hilton with the equaliser. Two minutes later the hosts were stunned as the Moles took the lead, Hilton once more- and it quickly got worse for Vale as George Vincent saw red. Binfield then got a fourth, Mitchell Parker with it, and the Moles go fifteenth, Vale dropping out of the top five.
Hanworth Villa travelled to take on a newly reinforced Sutton Common Rovers, at Carshalton Athletic’s Colston Avenue. The Villains were four unbeaten in League and County Cup, winning their last three, whilst Rovers, who started the weekend in thirteenth place, were still looking for a first home win of the campaign despite showing some good form. The Villains took the lead on fifty four minutes courtesy of Sam Merson’s fourth of the season, and nine minutes from the end Merson got another to seal victory, and send his side into the top five. Ascot United welcomed Leatherhead. The Yellas had lost only one of their previous four and were victorious in Horndean in midweek, whilst the Tanners had suddenly hit top form, winning their previous three matches whilst scoring fourteen goals- although those games were all at Fetcham Grove. The meetings between the sides last season both went the way of the Tanners- both by only one goal to nil- and it was soon one-nil to Leatherhead in this one, too, Matt Everitt opening the scoring on twenty three minutes. That looked to be that, until, six minutes into added time, Tanners keeper Sonny Wheeler was dismissed- which allowed Khalid Simmo to hold his nerve and level from the spot.
Rayners Lane were at home to Ashford Town. Lane were unbeaten at home, although they had suffered heavy defeats in their last two matches, both on the road; whilst the Tangerines had lost their last three, indeed five of their last six. It was the visitors who opened the scoring, Connor Cullen converting from the spot midway through the first half, but Lane drew level with twenty two minutes left, Rio Connell getting the equaliser. A minute from time we had a winner, and it went to the hosts, Frank Keita scoring from the spot- his twelfth goal of the season.
Met Police welcomed Guernsey to Imber Court, an early kick off- and it already had three goals before the rest of our fixtures got underway. The Boys in Blue opened the scoring on seventeen minutes, Archie Lowery with the opener, but they were ahead for only five minutes, Owen Wallbridge with the equaliser- and the Gren Lions were ahead four minutes before half time, Ross Allen doing what he does best. Three minutes into the second half the visitors got a third goal, Sam Murray making it three-one, but the hosts were quick to respond, Mason Galloway pulling it back to two-three from the spot. Four minutes into added time, with the visitors seemingly having held on for three points, it turned out they were only going to escape with one, Kynan Kirlew-Wright making it three-three.
Finally, bottom side Badshot Lea were eight points from safety at kick off, and still looking for a first win of the season. The Baggies latest attempt to deliver that victory came against Southall, who were without an away win all season- but they went ahead ten minutes into the second half through Makael Scott. The hosts levelled with five minutes to go, Lamin Ceesay scoring from the spot, but any hopes that gave the home faithful were quickly dashed, Kyal Williams restoring The All’s lead within two minutes and Josh Green adding a third seven minutes into added time.
