A very late goal gives the visitors the points
Leatherhead welcomed Hayes and Yeading United to Fetcham Grove. Both sides were expected to be amongst our promotion contenders, and United started the day just outside the top five, whilst the Tanners were back in sixteenth but that was partly because they’ve been a little busy in cup competitions. The Tanners had won five of their last six matches, only Cup defeat at Premier Division Dartford getting in the way, but they ended this one with nothing. With a goalless draw seemingly confirmed, George Sippetts got the winner for United one minute from time, sending his side up to fifth.
