Tanners destroy Farnham’s unbeaten run- but Town stay top

A fabulous day for Leatherhead, and wins for Hartley and Vale leave them second and fifth. Uxbridge make it eight wins in a row at home, Deans get four, and The All win with three

Leatherhead were the latest side to try to end Farnham Town’s magnificent run, and the Tanners went ahead on thirty eight minutes. Lucas Franzen-Jones has made a fine start to his Leatherhead career and scored his third in three to put his side ahead seven minutes before half time- and he added another seven minutes into the second half as Town’s fifty eight match unbeaten run looked under severe threat. The visitors quickly got a goal back, Adam Liddle the scorer, but within two minutes of that Franzen-Jones had completed his hat trick to make it three-one. Kane Fitzgerald added a fourth for the hosts eleven minutes from time, and they climb to twelfth. Hartley Wintney were looking for a fifth consecutive win as they welcomed Badshot Lea, the travelling Baggies still looking for a first win of the season. With home forward Aderi Dede having already scored twelve goals this season there was little surprise when his thirteenth was unlucky for the Baggies, particularly when he scored it on thirteen minutes. Twenty minutes from time Ellis Orsborn made it two, and they soon had a third, courtesy of returning goal machine Conor Lynch. That was that, but it was enough to send them second.

Guernsey were still looking for their first home win of the season on their sixth attempt, but it didn’t start well against Raynes Park Vale. Jordan Gallagher has been in superb form for the visitors, and he got goals number twelve and thirteen for the season to put them two up within twenty four minutes, although Finley Du port had halved the arrears before half time. The goals ended there, and Vale are fifth.

Uxbridge have been in fine form, particularly on their own patch, and indeed were looking for an eighth consecutive home win as Ascot United came to call- and an eleventh unbeaten match. The hosts went ahead just before the break, Wilson Chingoka the scorer- but they could have been behind by then, the Yellas seeing a penalty saved. Two minutes into the second half Uxbridge added a second, James Taylor creating many a smiling face amongst the home faithful. Right at the end Dontaye Whittaker made it three-nil, and his side are up to seventh.

Hayes and Yeading United saw Adrian Clifton score his eight goal of the season to put them ahead at Moneyfields, and it took him only three minutes to do it- but they couldn’t hold onto their advantage and the Moneys levelled eleven minutes into the second half, Harry Sargeant with the equaliser. The next goal looked to be crucial, and it as Clifton who scored it- from the spot- seven minutes from time, but the hosts hit back again three minutes from time, Jafer Mahhammedkier earning them a point.

Horndean got off to a flyer as they hosted Rayners Lane, Tommy Scutt taking only two minutes to put them ahead. The Deans were two up on sixteen minutes, Casey Bartlett-Scott the scorer, but Frank Keita, in fine form for the visitors, scored for the tenth time this season to halve the arrears eight minutes before half time. There was still time before the break for the hosts to restore their two goal advantage, however, Kyle Bailey making it three-one. Six minutes into the second half Billy Allcock added a fourth, but Keita reduced the gap to two once more by scoring a second for Lane with twenty two minutes left. That was that, however, the Deans up to tenth.

Southall played host to South Park Reigate, and The All went ahead on nineteen minutes, Olutobi Agunoega the scorer. Nine minutes before half time Kyal Williams added a second, and the match was won when Josh Green added a third goal twelve minutes from time. The Sparks finally got onto the scoresheet six minutes into added time, Jack Tucker the scorer, but it was too little too late.
