Ipswich Wanderers bring in Jose Santa de la Paz, Rhys Henry and Teon Leggett

Prior to the weekend's fixtures, Ipswich Wanderers strengthened their forward line with the arrivals of Jose Santa de la Paz, Rhys Henry and Teon Leggett.

Jose comes in from Newmarket Town. He became a Jockey in the summer, and his seventeen matches so far have seen him score four goals. He played for Bury Town last season, moving to Ram Meadow in the summer of 2023, and made nineteen appearances, scoring twice. He spent the second half of last season with Stanway Rovers, scoring five goals from seventeen matches.

Rhys will perhaps be best known for his time with Felixstowe and Walton United. He played thirty seven times for the Seasiders in 2018-19, scoring seven goals, was back to make a couple of appearances during what we had of the 20-21 season, and made twelve appearances during 21-22. He was with Heybridge Swifts as they reached the Play Off Final during 22-23, making forty one appearances and scoring five goals.

He played for youth football for Ipswich Town and Southend United, and went on to play for Cheshunt, Harlow Town, Thurrock, Lewes, AFC Sudbury, Bury Town, Maldon & Tiptree, Needham Market and Leiston.

Also arriving- or indeed returning- was Teon Leggett. Teon is something of a Wanderers legend, scoring twenty two goals as they won promotion to our level in 22-23. He was also a Wanderer last season, scoring four goals in thirty matches.
